Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park

Have breakfast at your hotel in Kampala and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, home to the Nyakagyezi gorilla family in southwestern Uganda. Have a stopover at the Uganda equator for photography and lunch en-route.  Enjoy a full day drive through Ankole plains, plantations, and Kigezi hills reaching Kisoro in the evening. Overnight stay

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Mgahinga Gorilla Park & Transfer to Bwindi Forest

In the early morning, have breakfast, and with your packed lunch assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla tracking experience in Mgahinga N.P. The trek to see gorillas starts at 8:00 am and may last for between 30 minutes and 7 hours depending on the location of gorillas that day. Spend an hour with the gorillas, learn about their lifestyles and enjoy this lifetime experience. In the evening, you will transfer to   Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the center for gorilla habituation experience in Uganda.

Day 3: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi National Park

Today you wake up early, have breakfast, and with your packed lunch transfer to Rushaga park headquarters for registration and briefing about gorilla habituation experience. In your group of 4, you will start off the trek to meet the wild gorillas at 8:00 am. Hiking time may be short or long depending on where gorillas will be that day. On reaching the gorillas, spend 4  hours in their presence, take part in training them, take pictures and learn about their wild lifestyles. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge (Day 3).

Day 4: Departure

Breakfast is followed by a picnic drive back to Kampala or Kigali where the tour ends.

This marks the end of the 4 days Uganda safari to Mgahinga and Bwindi National Parks for gorilla tracking and habituation experience respectively.
